If you want a little more power in your two-way radio, the Cobra microTALK PR 1000 is the model for you. This radio offers the greater range of General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS)–plus seven channels of Family Radio Service, enabling you to communicate with friends and family who have FRS radios.
The PR 1000 features an output of 2 watts on high power for up to a 5-mile range and 0.5 watts on low power. Other radio features include 38 privacy codes, key lock, a backlit LCD display, and a SuperFlex detachable antenna that allows for the use of a mobile antenna.
